Default Mechanic Question! Help requested. Thanks so much!

I have about 200 miles on the car. Two issues that popped up (love for the community’s amazing help in evaluating)…

(1) I hear this small clicking sound from the front left / drivers side of the car. It’s very slight but odd. Almost sounds like a flap.

(2) when I press the brake, I hear a very small vibration and feel it on my foot.

This only happens above 40 miles per hour or so.

Videos attached

Thanks so much!!

Would love to try to help but I can’t hear any of what you describe in your videos; maybe it’s just my bad hearing.

On the first clip I hear what sounds like some slight crackling, almost like static on a radio.

On the second clip I don't hear anything. But if you feel vibration then there is something going on that isn't correct. Warped brakes, a tire not balanced? Ask the dealer to check it out.

Guess are hard, but here goes:

1) Small clicking noise from left front: You may have a small rock in the tread of the tire. Easy to check.

2) Rotors don't warp, but you may have a glazing on the rotor. Though in 200 miles is really odd for that unless you went out and really got into the brakes. Find yourself a spot where you can safely REVERSE in a straight line at speed, about 20 mph. Apply the brakes hard, but not to the point of anti-lock activating Repeat two more times. That can dislodge any dirt or particles that may be on the rotor.

Do you have the Extended Range Fuel Tank? If so, and the noise disappears with less than 3/4 to 1/2 tank, there is a Porsche Service Bulletin on how to fix this. Also a number of threads on this forum about this.

Research the proper procedure on internet on how to “bed” or seat new brake pads to rotors following a brake pad replacement. Follow that procedure as your brakes are new. If vibration remains, take to dealer for warranty repair.
