My best so far is 7.4s on 93octane stage2 from a 45 roll. Stock was 9.3s.

No oil consumption during first 2,300 miles. Break in was under 4K for 800 miles, under 5k to 1200, under 6k to 1800. Lots of rev’s up to limits mentioned driving in sport/sport plus the entire time.

The total oil capacity expands about 1 litre from room temp (72) to operating temp (anything >215). So if an oil change is done in the fall cooler months, and then driven in the hot dog-days of summer, it feasibly can trigger an over-fill warning (yellow warning). Especially true for owners that like oil changes done at the near full mark. All it takes is about 300 mls over the full mark to trigger the yellow warning. This is also why our oil readings are done at operating temp.

Never replied to these from what I can tell. My Blackstone report from last year is below and yes, it shows two interesting things
1. Lower viscosity numbers (moisture?)
2. A touch of fuel in the oil

I like how Blackstone says "you can take it out more" rather than the "start driving the car you wimp"

Just got home from my 1yr service on the GTS. Dealership replaced the factory fill with Liqui Moly 5w-40w C40. Also traded me out of the 2qts. of Mobil 1 0w-40w A40 spec they gave me a year ago when I picked up the car with two 1 liter (1.06qt) containers of the Liqui Moly C40 spec oil. No oil top off needed during my 6,200 first year miles.

Just seems odd no Mobil 1 C40 is being used by the dealership especially given the big $ Mobil 1 pays to be named the factory oil.

It could be just a case of lack of stock.

My courtesy service they did add Mobil1 0w-40 x3 C40. For most people 0w-40 is nonsensical given they will never face those very low temps. Also the important point is the C40 (no idea why since we don't have - for 2020 - 2022 models any GPF engines) compatibility. Given your likely temperatures in TN, it makes a lot more sense to put in 5w-40 and C40 than 0w-40 A40 and either Liqui Moly or Motul as both provide 5w-40 C40 oils.

Since the first oil change on the 992, I've migrated to Liqui Moly but just refrain from driving when temps are below -20F. For all my other vehicles: 2008 V8 Touareg, 2020 Macan S and 2012 Gehl 5640 turbo skid steer I use Mobil1 0w-40 A40.

For those who are reporting no oil consumption, do you mean that the digital indicator shows the exact same level between two oil changes (1year/10K miles)?

For me it was completely stable for the first year/4500 miles but I noticed that now after another 6 months and 4K miles the indicator dropped a little bit.
I am not particularly worried but was wondering if this is aligned with what others experience.

Mine started bouncing between full and one tick down around 6k miles driven. By the 10k mile change it bounced between 1 and 2 ticks. After the change it still varies so they must have measured what they drained and put the same back.

It depends on where your gauge started. When I change oil, I intentionally refill my oil level to 75% of full to avoid overfilling which contributes to carbon formation on intake valves with direct injection engines. My oil gauge regularly bounces on any given check between 75% and full…..which is exactly where I want it. Because mine is intentionally set at the 75% break line, I expect it to bounce up and down a little a result of a few more or a few less ounces in the sump because of environmental factors. I do not consider this oil consumption. What the gauge means is relative to where your oil level started which you really do not know unless you change your oil yourself or the mechanic is very precise about quantity drained v. Quantity refilled. Keep in mind that all of the oil in your engine is not totally drained during an oil change.

I also change my oil and filter religiously at a maximum of 6 months or 5,000 miles.
