Looks great - I would just add something to break up the black interior just a bit. Deviated stitching package in guards red, red seat belts and red dials with black leather. That will help to carry the red from the calipers into the interior.

Looks like a very nice disciplined build. I agree with the others on keeping RWS. I was on the fence about RWS but I kept it and I'm glad. Don't know about battery supply issues but it shouldn't be a problem b/c these batteries should last for years if you drive the car regularly. The tighter turning radius and added stability in high speed lane changes is very nice to have.

Also, IMO nothing wrong w/ the M4 front end. Looks nothing like beaver teeth to me... actually looks like a Japanese Gundam robot. Not sure if BMW was going for that look but yeah. It's perfectly aggressive in my eyes.

Everything looks great, including RAS.

Only things I would consider is PDCC and PCCBs.

Enjoy the wait and the new ride.

Build is nice and simple- like it.

I would add something red on the interior to tie in the red calipers as some one else suggested.

I would upgrade the seats and consider adding a colored stripe (red?) to the tach and chronometer.

I would not upgrade the seats unless over 74 inches and 220.

The 4 way sports are great seats. I had the LWBs in my last 2 Porsches and simply find the 4 ways the “sweet spot”

Or if you have back problems. I am tall and thin but my lower back is toast after years of sports and not taking proper care of it. 4 ways absolutely destroy my back due to lack of lumbar adjustment.

OP, if you've had the 4 -ways before then ignore me, but I'd suggest doing what you can to find some 4 ways to sit in before you make a decision. On 154k car, adding a couple thousand on the seats isn't meaningful price-wise

Strangely enough I was walking down Greenwich ave today and met a friendly guy in a base 992 with some very tasteful interior options. He had the four way seats and let me sit on the passenger side and it was heavenly! When I got my 991.2, I had the 14 ways and those left a bit to be desired. With that said, I put in the order! I changed one little detail, the badging will just say "911". Order went in but when I checked the Porsche tracker it didn't seem to match. I'll reach out to the SA tomorrows I'm sure it's a glitch.

Ultra boring. Uggh. This isn't a 992 build. This is a lack of imagination on all fronts. Sorry. That's my honest opinion.

It’s not like the car gets any faster if you spend $40k in leather and stitching.

Does the 4-way come with the memory package?

From the manual:
In vehicles with the memory package, the mirror glass on the
passenger's side swivels slightly downward when reverse gear is engaged, so that the area around the curb comes into view.

No. Only the 14 and 18 way seats come with memory package that remembers, seat, mirror and steering wheel positions, as well as dropping the mirror for reverse AND pushing the seat back and back into position automatically when you shut it off / start it. This is a nice feature as it makes it a bit easier to get in and out of the car.

Yeah some nice to haves. Funny thing though. I found the start/stop easy-access seat back-and-forth thing annoying, disabled it.

So ladies and gents, I have pretty much finalized my order and have decided on doing the following:

1. I am NOT going to get the 4 way seats and am getting the carbon buckets as part of the lightweight package.
2. I changed the model designation on the back to 911.

I appreciate and respect everyone's feedback and help with this. For those that found the build boring, it was intentional. I'm not quite at the point in my life where I care much for fancy stitching or colorful seatbelts. If I ever get a gt3 allocation in a few years. I promise that one will be a wild one .
