10% ($17,000 wire) as allocation was available same day I emailed them in fall 2020. Seemed like a lot but I knew I was 100% keeping my order and I was a 1st time customer. I reached out to every dealer in Florida and no one else had a C2S Cab allocation.

it varies a lot by dealer, relationship & history, and country. Like a lot. anything from $0 to $x to x%. I've heard as high as 20% for some European dealers. Some folks pay a deposit on wait list, some on an allocation, and some on V200 (locked) and some on any combination of those.

$0. Paid 100% on delivery. I actually wanted to give them a small deposit in exchange for some paperwork once I had the allocation to ensure the car was really mine at our agreed price. Was bracing for some serious dealer shenanigans on delivery, but there were none.
New customer, no trade, no watch or other crap, MSRP.

I put $0 down for my 992 and my current 992 GTS that is on a ship, same dealer. However, I did put $2k down to get in line for a GTS at another dealer in late 2021. I asked for a refund in late 22 since I was 2nd on the list all year. I really think it depends on the dealer.

My local dealer charges nothing to be placed on a list. When an actual allocation comes up, and it's your turn, they call and ask if you want it. If you do, they take a $5K non-refundable deposit along w/ your build request. They sell non-GT and non-special edition cars at MSRP and the contract is written up with all fees, MSRP pricing, sales tax etc. all written out and signed off by the sales manager and by the buyer. If you have an outlandish build, they will ask for more money - up to $10K.
