Agree, definitely a Darwin Pro. I put one on my car, but didn't paint it. I thought the
carbon fiber went well with Aventurine Green. For only $500 I think it gives the rear a sportier look.

2024 Dakar in PTS Linden Green showed up.... getting some PPF then we'll go find dirt. Random 992 Q. Did the cubby/drinkholder/ashtray cubby thing (by parking brake switch) get deeper in 2024 than it was in 2022 era 992s?

My 24 GT3 is shallower than my 22 C2S by a significant amount. 24 is Manual and 22 is PDK, unsure if that makes a difference.

Random guess, as I have no way to prove this. My hypothesis is that Porsche engineers and designers realized that the driver’s arm has to go over the cubby/drink holder, and therefore, whatever goes in there needs to sit deeper for the driver to be able to work the stick shift. I can’t imagine it’s enough though. I’m sure that if you put a Porsche Thermal Mug in there, you still won’t be able to work the stick shift. Might work for other, lower items though.

Default A Fall picture

I'm definitely falling for this GTS. What do I like? The low down torque and the rear seats that I can use for my younger kids. It's very rapid too. Get lots of compliments.

Ahh, that makes sense. My other 992's were Manual... the Dakar is the first PDK I've owned. Thank you!

Yes the PDK has deeper cup because manual uses more space.

Ah! So it’s the opposite of what I hypothesized above… dumb engineers 😅
