Looks like a beautiful car. I'm on the list for a GTS so I'm taking notes for my build.

Thanks all!
I live in San Diego and FAL is a must, not on mine and I scrape the front all the time. Extended range gas tank and if you drive in stop and go traffic or the freeway then ACC.

Thanks for the feedback. Does anyone have thoughts on PDCC for track use?

Nice build, also have a chalk GTS on a very long allocation waitlist.

Not a fan of the glossy interior trim in exterior color inlays. The standard gray textured ones are quite nice. There's also a carbon fiber inlays option for $840 (I speced this). Chalk belts will show grime eventually and need a cleaning.

On the fence about PDCC. Did not spec it for my GTS, could still change my mind. I have a Base C2 at the moment and it has none of the fancy suspension stuff. It's incredibly capable, was tearing up the autocross course last week just fine. I'm pretty convinced I will have zero regrets not specing it. I'd rather have the 18 way seats with the adjustable bolsters.

For me it is like Power steering plus- I just do not think it is needed nor necessary. Plus- not a cheap option for some thing you will probably never notice. Also- pardon my ignorance; never really understood this option. I get RAS because I had it on my 2018 GT3 but no interest in PDCC.

Updated build. Changes I'm considering are 18 ways seats and removing PDCC. Thanks

I have had every seat.

I stuck with the 4-ways on my GTS and, as always, very happy with the decision.

Matter of fact, Porsche does not make a bad seat and their brakes whether Standard or PCCBs are always all good.

I would hesitate to remove PDCC until you fully understand what it does and are sure you don't find it beneficial. A previous poster noted he found it wasn't needed or necessary but then admitted he didn't understand how it functioned. Porsche will say it does improve lap times, so take that FWIW. The basic concept is to both improve handling at the limit by minimizing body roll and comfort by being able to adjust the anti-roll bar on uneven surfaces. Some will say they don't like the way it feels "artificial" at the limit, which is a valid point but something you would have to experience yourself to make a determination. No, the 992 doesn't NEED PDCC, but I decided since mine would see track time and personally I like the increased lateral stiffness, to add it to my build.

Agreed. I opted for the PDDC (Targa) not for the handling at the limit, but for the added compliance on back roads and uneven surfaces. Probably more relevant in a Targa than a GTS Coupe with SPASM.

On your seat selection - I had 18 way sports+ on my first 992 C4S (loved them), on my Targa 4S that I just got - ordered with the 4 way Sports+.

1.) you mentioned tracked focused. I did find out that the 18ways were 150lbs (or something ridiculous) heavier than the 4 ways - which is considerable
2.) I found that the 18ways it took a long time to move the seat up and back for putting things in the back (bags or whatever). I find the 4 ways Sport+ equally comfortable (specifically a little more since my 4 ways do not have ventilation and have a bit more cushion due to that).

Just a few things to consider. I also had RAS on both my cars, and also opted for PDCC on my targa - I felt with the top heaviness of the Targa, PDCC would be a benefit. Coincidently it handles nearly exactly like my Coupe - I think PDCC is a helper on the targa with the extra top weight.

Thanks all. Unfortunately I don't think I'll have a chance to see if I like the PDCC at the limit on the track as I have never driven a 911 (also don't think I can get near the limit at this time!). I think it's fair to say the additional comfort will be helpful when driving in Manhattan on a regular basis...

4 way seats more than I need comfort-wise. However in NYC most parking lots are valet, and they always move the seat. Memory would help there.

Thanks again, I think I'm narrowing it down.

I ordered PDCC on my GTS build and the factory deleted it. I have an expected build date sometime in June so timing may be different for you but PDCC is not currently available.

That would make my decision easier
