I always thought that was because I am always in my Garage when I start her and the Satellite signal too weak

not sure since I have this also happen when I start car outside a garage. You would think Radio is an instant on but maybe it is over engineered. Might be looking for my Bose settings that it likes to randomly reset

There’s an option to have the PCM look for an online version of the station if FM reception is weak. Perhaps try deselecting it?

FWIW, I took delivery monday and my PCM home screen is the same.

I’m going to look for a version number on my PCM software when I get a chance.

My end run around this is to hit the voice command button and say "Play [Station]". That seems to work.

Mine is a Feb 2022 build and doesn’t have those colours on the icons. The only icon that’s coloured is the icon on the side that’s selected. UK based, whether that makes a difference. Nothing I am bothered about.

If it is just a software change, then Porsche may update, if they choose to. They may not, especially if it is not OTA, but requires labor at the dealer.

The change from 21 to 22 MY brought a different hardware unit with a faster processor solving some boot up issues (e.g. HomeLink). Those with the old one were out of luck.

As with all things, tech evolves all the time. Your “brand new” product is quickly aging.
Nothing to agonize about. Just drive that car!

This is what the PCM showed. The UI date Shows 2021 so I don't think that was what was touched in the update....

Does everyone have the "Minimal View" on their dash cluster? This is my first 911 and first time playing with the new PCM. This is just what the tech advisor told me.

They should put the AM radios back in these cars.

Well there's another one. I stand corrected. I had only seen the prior version. It would seem there are multiple software revisions (..5/2021, 11/2021 and now 2/2022.....all with colored tiles). PCNA stated that Porsche was working on a final release before pushing it out to earlier '22 models with the pre-colored tile PCM 6.0 versions.
