Default My car idles in Sport mode at 2 different rates. Why?

I usually drive in sport mode.

For a while now I noticed that it idles at about 600 RPM at some times. At other times it idles at a bit under 900 RPM

Always in sport mode, always far after cold start has long passed.

The only trend I’ve noticed is that the ambient temperature is higher outside when I’m idling at 900 rpm.

Does anybody know why there are two idling rates?

^ I figured it was an electric/power related thing. That would make sense
