Stokes tried to take my M4 to the freaking cleaners, their prices are insane.
Go to tirerack, pick the exact tires you want, have them sent to firesstone right down maybe 1/2 mile from BH Porsche almost to Century city westfield mall install them for actual peanuts.

I always buy from Tire Rack and send to the shop of my choice.
I also recommend Tire Rack. Easy ordering process, you pick the shop you want and they're always offering zero-interest financing if you need it. Really hard to beat TR.
I used to do that also and it certainly may still work for many.
My friend Bruno* who had a wonderful sense of humor said :
"Tom, bringing your tires purchased elsewhere to a tire a tire store to be mounted is like
bringing 2 eggs to Denny's and asking to have them cooked."

I have used Stokes many times over more than 10 years and always compared their prices with tirerack and they were always the same. Sorry about your experience with the M4.
Had good results with Tire Rack's on-location install service (ASAP Tire) recently. I haven't used it enough or heard enough about it to recommend it without reservation, but I'll certainly use them next time.
Maybe consider Westcoast Tire & Service Auto Repair, near Pico, near Best Buy, near where the 405 and the 10 cross.
this is who I’ve used for 10 years when it’s not a dealer issue. Decent dudes there. If you treat them well they tend to be very fair and will match/beat others prices
I ended up going to Globe at Venice and La Cienega. Most convenient location right off the 10. They were great. Found a screw lodged in my tire and had me in and out in 45 minutes. All the cars they were working on were high end and they seemed to handle them with care. Friendly people. They did no harm. Would definitely go back.

+1 for Stokes. I've been going there for some years. I always buy my tires from TireRack and have Stokes install them. Their prices seem about normal for LA. They also fixed a shimmy problem I had with a new tire on my 4Runner that the place I got the tires from (not Stokes) couldn't.
