I wonder how quickly TYD is typically updated once the cars have been loaded, I've heard mixed reports. Have people seen a delay in the past where TYD updates well after the ship departs?
from what i have seen, the TYD updates a day or two after it leaves Emden. However, your dealership knows a little before its updated on TYD. Hope that helps.
where are you heading to? Mine to Houston is still showing on vessel 04/15, but it is actually not. No change at all since it arrived Emden on 04/07
Jacksonville. Yeah I've been at Emden since 3/10. I totally understand why there might be delays, but TYD is just so frustrating. Does Porsche really not know which cars are slotted to get on which boats? Side note, having a SA who communicated would also improve the process.
Mine just delayed two weeks (3rd time since it arrived at Emden). Was previously 4/15 until today, anyone else experience anything similar?
My guess is that TYD is almost completely automated and is not smart enough to know _which_ ship you’ll be on, nor when it is scheduled to arrive and leave. Someone at Porsche knows, but not TYD. TYD just gives it a couple weeks to get on a ship and if your car doesn’t make it for some reason it just gives another new slot. If your port is one the Siem Confucius is headed for, I would not assume that your car won’t make the ship based on this TYD update. But maybe I’m just being too optimistic.

According to TYD, mine has been at Emden since 3/25. It was originally scheduled to depart on 4/8, then it was 4/15, then 4/22. Hopefully the 3 time will be the charm. I think it should be called JFWY (just f’in with ya)!
I’ve been lurking on this site for a long time but now that I found this thread I had to sign up. I’ve got a cs4 inbound hopefully with you guys. Currently sitting at emden (since 4/8) with an estimate on vessel of 4/15. Going to Chicagoland area through Baltimore port so I think I’m in the right place for updates! Glad to see I’m not the only lunatic searching the internets for more info and checking the tyd site hourly!
