Looks like they are seeing extended delays southbound. Found this when searching for current delays at the Panama Canal. With this update from 4/28... we are looking at maybe moving through on 5/3. Get comfortable folks.... we are going to be here for a little while longer.

SOUTHBOUND WAITING TIME

LNG 11 days

Neo-Panamax: 11 days

Panamax Plus: 14 days

Panamax (beam >27.74 m/91 feet): 5 days

Small (beam <27.74 m/91 feet): 2 days

I didn’t want to hear it or think about it. But you are most probably correct with the dates. It would also make sense with the ship “Stretching her legs”, they would not do that if they were closing on the departure date. At this point anything before 05/03 would be a nice surprise.
