However, I don't think that car has it because the side skirts are body color, and you cannot spec body color skirts with the high gloss black package. Same deal with the mirror base.

They are the matte wheels but I used some DreamMaker on them to see if I could get a little bit of sheen and they were ceramic coated when I had the paint done too.
The car was freshly detailed and shark blue looks best, IMHO, out of the extreme sun.
I do have carbon mirror caps too. I didnt spec the car as it was an employee build but the GM took it away from him and gave it to me last year LOL.

Have been on a waitlist for both a Targa 4S and a Targa 4 GTS for a while. Finally got an allocation - for a Targa 4 GTS! There was a catch, of course… my dealer - perhaps the biggest in South Florida - got a couple (literally) of high-end allocations for buyers that also purchase a Porsche Design “custom” watch. Gotta (begrudgingly) hand it to Porsche - they know how to extract a couple extra thousand from us and I’m guessing this is part of the highly rumored shifts in production towards US markets.
I’m looking at it like this: I had to spend about $6k on a watch that may be worth $3k the moment I take it. Or, it’s like a $3k ADM to skip the waitlist plus $3k for a PD watch. Either way, I’m excited. It’s pretty much my dream car! Here’s a pic at the end of production. For those who are curious, my build “Freeze” was on 5/24/23 and it arrived at the German port 6/30/23 (yesterday).
Black/black/black with manual transmission. I preferred the look of the black satin Spyder wheels and know that shops down here won’t touch the Turbo center lock wheels. So went with it. Not too many notable upgrades beyond typical ones (black leather with chalk stitching, sport 18 way seats, premium package, ventilated seats because of Florida swamp @ss, a few others) but did spec Front Axle Lift.

Congrats. Nothing looks better than black and nothing looks worse...but mostly the former.
...as for CL wheels, I get the choice to avoid, but I will say if the shop won't touch them I wouldn't touch the shop. They are a breeze with the proper TR.

Agree with all! I’m planning to pay up for proper coating / PPF. Regarding the wheels, picking up nails in South Florida is a painfully common occurrence. Just nice to know it’ll be an easier fix regardless of where I’ll be when it happens, or when.

...but I am too and went CL's for the looks and wheel weight. My view was in 20 years of driving here in Naples I have never punctured. Of course, I just invited fate.

A couple photos I had to grab! Caught this predecessor to the 911 going down the street and had to catch them at a traffic light!

Go Gators!
Yeah, the CL’s are really cool. I’m excited for the Spyders though. Not as common wheels for an otherwise common build (referring to my black/black about to be on its way).
Side note: I really can’t believe how expensive PPF / Ceramic coating is. I know it’s another topic for another thread - just sayin…

Roof stripes and painted seat backs are two of my favorite options.

Picked up this heavily spec’d Carmine Red GTS a few days ago, also have a 991.1 GTS. Very different cars, both awesome. The 992 is significantly faster but the 991 engine is still amazing and sounds better. PDCC and RWS make a big difference in handling though the 991 still has fantastic handling. The wireless CarPlay in 992 is nice.
