Default Atlantic Sun-How many of you are waiting patiently

Just wondering how many RLs are waiting for their cars on this vessel. It seems to be taking its time with last stop in Europe (Liverpool) scheduled tomorrow before it crosses the Atlantic. TYD does not seem to tracking this ship accurately so far.

And how the cars made it for loading in Hamburg...

TYD shows my car only being at the port for 4 days before being loaded on this ship.

If it gets here in a week or a month I won't drive it until the snow melts anyway, so not in a rush to pick it up.

I don't think anyone knows how or why the cars loaded in Hamburg. My TYD says the car was delivered to the Emden port but this ship didn't stop there.

My dealer had no idea. He told me it was already ON the Atlantic Sun before it had even made it's first stop after crossing from the U.S.

The only conclusion that I can come to is that they want to clear all the produced cars from emden as quickly as possible to make space for FA cars and also to get capacity on the vessels so that they can reach customers affected as soon as possible. If this is the case kudos to porsche.

Looks like the ship is off to Canada. I hope it doesn't get stuck there in quarantine and everyone's bank accounts frozen.

Default Waiting patiently

TYD had my 992 arriving to Emden on 2/23/22 and on a vessel on 3/1/22…a few days later “Atlantic Sun” popped up (probably when it left Hamburg on 3/5/22) and is now on its way to Halifax after leaving its stop in Liverpool. I too am not sure how my car got from Emden to Hamburg.

According to my SA, the Atlantic Sun should be arriving to Halifax on 3/24/22 and then to its final destination (at least for my car) in the Port of Baltimore on 3/27/22. I’m hoping to see my 992 before the TYD expected delivery date of 4/15/22. Just gotta wait it out patiently I guess…

yes patience is the hard part particularly after I traded in my 2020 911 carrera s cab but not long to go. Mine is also offloading at Baltimore
