Anyone spec the "Interior trim in light silver" option?
I am working on my build spec. I think this time Im going for Gentian Blue and Slate leather with chalk. Im worried it will be too monotone so i thought i would get the light silver trim. Anyone have opinions here? Maybe pics to help me lean one way or another.
excuse the dusty photos, GT silver interior ...I like it the car was already spec'd by the dealer, I wouldn't have thought I would like it, but I think it blends nicely in the interior with the exterior
I have optioned the light trim in silver. I feel the horizontal trim line is an important design element within the interior and the base color hides this somewhat as it blends in too much. With the silver trim it enhances this design element nicely as well as brining some contrast to the dark interior I chose (black full leather). If you opt for carbon trim, you get the light silver, but I actually prefer the base texture. It goes very well with the dash buttons/*****.
sorry...no pictures as my car is currently fried on the Felicity Ace.

Oh No!!! Im really sorry. Has anyone reached out as to what happens next??
The Palado wood trim comes with the light silver, looks great! (with or without the palado.) This is a 2022 Targa 4s.
that looks great. Not sure paldo goes with the slate as well as with black. Question...if you go with smoking package...do you get the cupholder and the other insert as well? Also....how is the paldo to take care of? no stains? says open pore in description...i didnt know if it was sealed.
I chose the carbon interior trim precisely because I felt the dark gray trim looked too monotone in a black interior car. I highly recommend it. The silver is not as proinent as in a 991 because the steering wheel trim stays black but adds nice bright accents to an interior that breaks it up a bit. I think it's a no brainer if you have a black or dark colored interior. Your slate gray would definitely look better w/ the silver trim IMO. However, given it's $1K price tag, I'd consider leather and carbon trim options as well to get the same silver trim.

Yes I got the cup holder as well with mine. It is an easy purchase afterwards if you don't get it. With the manual I prefer the plan flat insert or the smoking package insert. You cannot use the cup holder as a cup holder with a manual, the beverage/cup gets in the way when shifting. So I either have in the smoking insert (you can rest your arm on it) or just the plain one.
Palado is a zero maintenance item so far, it does feel/look like real wood rather than a high gloss type finish you see in a mercedes or Bentley. It is very unique looking because it is not high gloss. It does have a coating on it, I believe but not high gloss.

Thanks all!
I would add the brushed aluminum inlays to the silver trim. I think it is like 300 or so to upgrade.

My ocd has kicked in and I need to come to your house to clean that car 😉
UGH. Well hopefully Porsche does something for you.
not sure what you’d expect - it’s hardly their fault.
what i would like to see is cars who are replacing a car that went down in the f.ace getting a badge somewhere on the interior indicating as such. maybe in the shape of a ship. “remembering the felicity ace” - something like that.
I don’t like the light trim. It comes by default on the TTS. It doesn’t tie into anything. It’s annoying. There is dark grey trim elsewhere throughout the cabin. No way to unoption it on the TT
