Porsches that are impacted are
According to the German label's website, these cars and SUVS are affected as of Feb. 22:
911, 2017-2019
Cayenne, 2015-2910
Macan, 2017-2018
718, 2017-2021
Panamera, 2014-2018

Fortunately we have the 4G LTE on the 992, but one day that may be obsolete too (already is to some degree). It would be nice if these communication modules are upgradeable.

BMW offered a free upgrade. They probably knew that once people knew the module was not going to be easy, and take a lot of time, most customers would decline the free upgrade, as I did.
