That is correct, and true for all of the gauges. As long as the pointer is between the marked zones at left and right, it's in the normal operating range by definition.

Charging voltage varies based on a vast number of different factors, including outside temperature. It can go up to ~15 volts and still be in range.

Good point as my charge rate changes depending on whether Auto Start Stop is on or off.

I have an AGM battery and the normal output for the alternator is 12.2V.

The normal output at any given time is any value between the two purple lines shown in Scorsch's pic above. No worries.
