Hi everyone, my build locks soon and I keep going back and forth on color combos and came down to two options that I would love to get your opinions on.
I voted chalk, but if it was me I’d would not go with the red dash/steering wheel. Just a bit too much for my tastes. Just one dude’s opinion.. but you did ask for it :-)
Chalk (991 Turbo) owner so I love the color, but I think on a 992 Carrera the green will look much better for longer, without lots of vents and wings offsetting a basic, round'ish shape.
As Brad said, I'd also advise the black dashtop and steering wheel.
Enjoy whatever way you go!!!

Thanks! I first thought that too but I was able to see Bordeaux red with chalk stitching in person and it's actually much darker-toned red than I thought and I really liked it. I think the chalk stitching gave the right contrast which made it even better.
I also saw chalk and aventurine in person as well and I gotta say, I agree with everyone that the aventurine was much better in showing off the curves of the 992 while the chalk looked really flat maybe because the chalk 992 was outside and aventurine 992 was inside.
I would say, Aventurine was my favorite exterior color over chalk but Bordeaux red with chalk stitching was my favorite interior color but both doesn't go well together haha (Christmas vibes)
So its either I pick my favorite exterior color or my favorite interior color.
I also thought about the Red/Black interior but for me, its full red or nothing

I didn't vote .
That red dash wolud kill me . I like peace and quiet in my interior .
Iceland becomes green on. green . Its overkill.
If I were buying a standout exterior I would pick a simple interior to offer balance .
IF I were buying a standout interior I would do the same with exterior.
For instance .. Aventurine . I would pick black, black chalk stitch, truffle , or anything simple.
I would do the same with Chalk . My first pick is black with chalk stitch.
With Iceland o with Black Bordeaux .. I would go Jet Black Metallic . With the red I might also consider dolomite or Gt silver.
I wold not pick either of you two colors .
In conclusion .. colors are so personal and I most definitely wrestled with it . I hope you find peace with this . Its a process that takes some time.
Our choices varied between Gentian Blue/black, Chalk/Agave and Aventurine/Black or Truffle.
We were able to see an AG car with Black/Iceland and neither of us liked it in person. We both wanted to like Chalk but were able to see a 992 and 2 Boxsters in that shade and it didn't look as good to us on the ground as it did on the Configurator. Which was too bad, because I think Chalk/Agave/wood trim would be a nice and rare combination.
We went with AG/Truffle/wood trim.
I agree on Black/Bordeaux over all Bordeaux, but we've never had a car with a red interior.
Vote here for chalk / Bordeaux. It’s actually on my own colour combo shortlist as I too am having a similar “build locks soon and I’m still on the fence about colour” dilemma for a C2S Cab. My other candidates are Chalk / Graphite Blue, and Carrara White Met / Graphite Blue.
