Thanks for the various cleaning tips. Now for my REAL problem...trying to clean the inside of the rear Targa window! You have to be the most limber contortionist around to bend into all the window areas when the rear window/hatch is opened for cleaning (and I am not!) It looks like it would be easy with the window/hatch opened, but it isn't. Any Targa owners have any tips that work for you?

1. use whatever product, they are all “the best”
2. Apply liberally to only half the window
3. quickly use your favorite small towel to loosen and wipe
4. even quicker BEFORE glass cleaner starts to dry wipe aggressively with a large clean fluffy towel.

I believe it’s the drying of whatever miracle product I was using caused the haze left behind. SPEED SPEED SPEED
I agree with what you are saying that the residue of whatever you use is a big problem. The pro window cleaners use deionized water for that reason. I asked a pro once what he put in the water and he said "it's not what's in the water, it's what's not in the water". The deionizers are expensive but they remove everything and windows (and vehicles) will dry spot free. If you can get your hands on some DI water try using that. I have a simple chuck system for washing so I have access to DI water and the windows turn out great with a microfiber.
