I remember reading that the 2022 992 would come with Dashcam prewire from NOV 2021 builds onwards. Has anyone received a vehicle with this? I would like to know if it is for the front and rear or front only and how it works.

 

Interesting. Do you happen to have a link to the source where you read this? It would be nice if it comes with prewire. I have always been wanting to install a dashcam, but giving up after thinking about the pain from wiring.

 

Don’t know of anyone having this yet, dealer had no idea.

BUt IF ever you want one and can't have the Porsche , it's really easy to buy any good camera and set it up yourself.
I will show you pictures of mines if I remember to take. Every single car has/had one , and it did not taker me more than 20-25 minutes To do it myself to PERFECTION. I keep on switching them from car to car every year or so...
And actually Porsche is very easy, as you have one plug under the dash ( passenger side ).
