Yeah not a fan of stealth wraps in general.... occasionally I'll see one that looks good but AG is the wrong base color. Not a fan of that look.

Well went to pickup my car from 1yr service at Suncoast and there was another customer’s car with AG and XPEL Stealth in the lot. Not a fan but here are some pics and side by side with my full Regular XPEL AG car.

P.S. Brown top works much better with AG. Also not a fan of black wheels on AG.

Great pictures, thanks for the comparison shots! Definitely agree with the earlier posts that the matte finish looks like it subdues the green hues, will likely go for the gloss finish.

I think the matte wrap just makes all cuts and panel gaps stand out more. Metallic glossy finish hides these gaps more.

I personally love matte wraps on grey or black cars but on Aventurine Green you lose the whole grey/green/brown/gold flake color change.

Thanks!

I have to believe that putting a “stealth” wrap on such a beautiful color as Aventurine Green, will diminish, if not eliminate that effect….I don’t know that to be the case, but if so, then adding any wrap that does that would be a total shame.

But hey, whatever turns you on.
The matte wrap from this brand really makes the green pop, I don't really see the gray/grey as much on this picture while looking on my phone. In person might be much different. SatinGuard PPF has a great look to it, I would love to see what it looks like on this color. I'm getting a GTS 4.0 in this as they just brought it back until December 1st (for the 718 at least) and I'm thinking the first few years leave it normal and just get a clear PPF in the high impact areas as I don't think I'll track it at all. After that, get the full SatinGuard.

I had both my cars covered with the gloss PPF and then ceramic coated on top of that and it looks amazing. My Panamera is Night Blue Metallic and 911 AG. No way I'd go with the matte on any car. Personal choice I guess. Just be prepared to live with your choice, cause once it's on there, it's an expensive pain to change it. Good luck.
