The Conductor is a good possibility but I'm sure hoping for something sooner. The Siem Confucius is supposed to be at/near Emden but doesn’t show on vesseltracker as being in Port. Perhaps it’s due to arrive soon and the labor issues will result in several days to load….

Siem Confucius has been anchored in this 'holding' area for days, I would guess 4 or 5 as I have been watching. and waiting for my car to get on a ship https://www.vesselfinder.com/?imo=9841017
You can see there are several ships that are anchored in this dotted box and I know the San Martin got there before Siem Confucious. I would guess it is manpower and not a vessel shortage issue as all last week there have been car carrier ships on the VW schedule anchored NW of Emden. I have been watching because my replacement 992 that went down on the Felicity Ace was on the docks since 7/6/22 and I see TYD claims it did get on the Supreme ACE although TYD had been showing the Supreme Ace is currently between Houston and Mexico although it just left Emden a couple of days ago.

Let's hope the Supreme Ace has a better trip than Felicity Ace did, at least until it leaves Houston.

Ouch! I imagine large vessels languishing off port is an expensive proposition for the carriers and imagine you are correct that it might be a labor shortage issue. I am taking this as good news for me hoping the Confucious will berth sometime soon and my car will get on it.

For what it is worth, I spoke to PCNA and they said that everything basically shuts down in August. My Taycan is "en route to port" since 7/15 and PCNA said that meant that it could not possibly get to Emden before September.

Congrats! I see the boat left on the 6th, did TYD update you today? Curious as to lag time between departure and porsche letting you know. Mine is at Emden, arrived on the 5th. The San Martin and SFL Composer are both in Emden now and eventually headed to port of Houston so I’m hoping I make it on to one of them.

Mine made it on the Siem Confucius as well (woohoo!) and TYD updated that I was on the boat the same day - before it set sail, so that was nice. It hasn’t updated any of the rest of the scheduled steps yet though. Good luck to you!

TYD says it took from 6/3 to 8/4 to get to Emden, and then it was loaded on 8/4

My car came out of the line on 7/15 (got photos via the published hack) but waiting for CP8.0 with completion estimated on 8/26 and ED scheduled for 9/15

Since a week ago it seems to have disappeared from TYD or even the overview page….is this perhaps related to August vacation? Has Porsche lost my car?

Anyone experiencing the same issue?

I think its a TYD issue, go into the email you got from Porsche inviting you to TYD, that should pull up the car, doesn't fix the issue, but its a workaround

Well was hoping to get on the San Martin for a Houston delivery. TYD just pushed back my date from 9/2 to 9/16. Not sure if that means I didn’t make it on the San Martin. At this point I’m thinking about gambling my down payment in some bitcoin or ether. Maybe I’ll make up for months of potential lost gains.

Same with my dates…also going to port in Houston. San Martin is still docked at Emden (according to Marine Traffic) so anything is possible. SFL Composer is also making a stop in Houston and it just docked in Emden too…so there’s always that boat. Likely based on the dates though, it appears we could be slated for the following ship SFL Conductor which appears to be running a week behind schedule but was originally supposed to port in Houston on 9/9.

you were right! I’m on the San Martin. Hopefully you made it on too! Now pray for calm waters, haha. I was previously totaled in the SFL composer in April.
