Default Got it!

Hi! After about a 6 month wait, I got to pick up the 992 S Manual on Xmas eve!

Options:
Sport Tex with Chalk stitching
Sport package
-PSE
-SPASM
RS Spyder Wheels
4 way sport + seats
Gloss Black Trim and badges
Power Mirrors
Extended tank
Sunroof
Bose
GT Sport wheel
Ambient lighting

This is my 3rd 911 and 1st new one. The last two were 997s which I loved. The 991 never really grew on me, but the look of the 992 got me when it was 1st released. Love the rear end and interior layout the most.

I'm slowly easing into this car, keeping revs reasonable after proper warm up. At first I was a little underwhelmed shifting at 3k RPMS, but with a heavier right root, I quickly realized this is a beast! Reminds me a bit of my F10 M5- luxurious and deceivingly quick.

I do intend to do a few mods to "make it mine". My black 997 was dialed in with Fister exhaust, Rennline motor mounts, eibach springs, and a DSC sports controller. Mild upgrades but gave it a needed meaner attitude.

Even though I have the PSE, I wish it were louder. Cold starts on my M5 competition make the 992 sound tame. Not sure I want louder cold starts, but more volume under throttle would be welcomed. Maybe some sports cats in my future.

I just ordered a Numeric Shifter. I know there are almost Zero reviews of them on the 992 specifically, so I will try to take some pics during the install and provide a review for those of you also considering this upgrade. There is nothing wrong with the shifter on the 992, frankly it is good. Just heard so many good things about the Numeric over the years that I have to give it a try.

Here are a few pics w a nod to the previous ones.

I had originally ordered Black/Bordeaux interior, but I'm glad I went with black w sport Tex. The 4 ways work well for me too. Enough thigh support and adjust ability to keep me comfortable ( though the seat creaks ) working on a fix for that.

Cheers!

Surprised how dark gentian can look. The color is def growing on me - I like a blue in sun black at night color. They killed nbm on me before I could order my 992, so jbm it is.
