I agree with this, and know it’s all relative to one’s income.

Some can afford to have multiple $250k cars, but I’d rather have two fun cars than one if $250k were the total budget.

I went from 992 C2S to 991.1 TTS - nicest car I ever owned and great pride in ownership - but negligible effort required to reach warp speed and corner on rails so driving satisfaction does dwindle with time. I’d advise stick with your C4S and try to resist scratching the itch!

The 991.2 TTS has a different feel compared to the 992 TTS.

I also had a 991.2 TT and that car had a little bit of cruiser mentality designed into it.

The 992 TTS is more aggressive and feels like a real sports car. That’s the biggest difference compared to the 991.2.

What I like about the 992 TTS compared to the Carrera is that it feels a little edgy and angry compared to the Carrera.

build here… would get BRG as it’s a lovely colour. http://www.porsche-code.com/PN8QVLV1
BRG on a turbo is a fantastic idea. Please add a truffle or cognac interior, sport exhaust and spasm and sell it to me when you are done!

The new TTS is unbelievable, though I only have 120 miles and about 24 hours with it (in the rain on winters). It is violently fast, nimble and it sounds great. So planted. Subjectively, the wing and wide body are perfect for the 992 design.

I would not hesitate. It's a two way door decision and your downside is getting your money back (probably with a slight profit) if you hate it.

Except the maintenance and insurance on the 360 is significantly more than on a 911 TTS

If money isn’t an issue, then there’s no reason not to do it.

I agree with the adding of a tune comment. It will be 90% of the TTS in a straight line. That might make the S a bit more "angry" feeling.

With an M Engineering tune you can remove it yourself before you bring it to the dealer.

The Turbo S is the ultimate 911 with a back seat. King of the non GT cars and that means something to people even beyond the performance gains. I’ve owned a 991 4S and GT3. I’m extremely happy with my 992 Turbo S and prefer it over the 991 variants. It’s my daily driver and it does everything well while fitting my small kids. None of my other sports cars have back seats, so my Turbo S gets driven the most. If you have the means then there is little to debate, which is essentially the point of the Turbo S.

For those mentioning tunes for the C4S, no matter the mods, it won’t be a Turbo S and that also means something to some people. One can also tune the TTS and launch to the moon. 😂

In 2021, I changed a well-optioned C4S to a full optioned turbo. I completely lacked the performance of the Carrera, but there were not enough options. Paying extra money for the same dynamics was strange, so we ordered a turbo

Of course if you're open to tuning a C4S, then tuning a TTS turns it from angry to psycho, I'm sure.

It would be interesting to hear a comparison - I don't doubt the numbers would be very similar, but an extra boosted 3.0 will not feel like a 3.8. It will sound different and put the power down differently.

One of the most surprising differences, for me, was how linear the stock C2S 3.0 is compared to the TTS 3.8.

There is no doubt the Turbo S is more car, also a good bit more money. Driving to work behind others got old real fast. I love 911's and just thought for myself it was to much car for my area. No right or wrong answer just opinions. I look forward to the GTS hoping it winds up in the middle. Truth be told I did call my SA a few weeks ago and put my name on the list for a 992.2 Turbo S. I think it may be interesting if it winds up being hybrid.

Do it!!! I currently own a 2019 Z06 with the callaway package. I love the car and I plan on keeping it for a while. I just cant stand the fact that I can't drive it in the winter as the rerar wheel drive doesnt allow me to during inclement weather. I never rode in a Porsche nor have I driven one. When I learned that the TTS is all wheel drive and has plenty of HP, I had to have it. I pick it up tomorrow and I can't wait to experience what everyone has been telling me about the TTS Porsche.

I traded my 992 Carerra 4S for a 992 Turbo S. The 4S I did not find particularly enthralling and I also had a BMW F82 M4 at the same time which I preferred and just found it more entertaining to drive, so I got rid of the 4S and kept the M4
Fast forward to the Turbo S and WOW....big difference from the 4S and M4. I sold the M4 soon afterwards, the Turbo S is a big step up from a 4S.....it doesn't get much better and certainly not much to beat it for acceleration.........do it!!

If you have the money and inclination, seems like a no brainer.
