Default Wrinkly Door Panel

Time to obsess about blemishes. I took a few photos of my new Cab that I will pick up next week an noticed a wrinkly driver's side door panel (see marked area in the photo). The passenger's side is flawless. Anybody has experienced that so far. Worth a warranty change part?

I would point it out at the very minimum. Maybe in the heat (not sure when the next warm day in Cincy will be) it will stretch and settle down. Otherwise, maybe they could steam it and it would work itself out and lose the wrinkles, although I would be wary of the dealer doing the steaming.

make sure they submit for warranty. They will probably need to order a new door card though. But take delivery and enjoy because it will probably take several months to get the part.

I have a similar issue in a small area of my steering wheel, but it's not even visible. I didn't make an issue out of it, but the door panel is unacceptable (IMO).

Yes, it's possible it could settle down after 6 months in the heat. Definitely mention to the dealer but yes, a part could easily take 6+ mos so ... just enjoy it! Guess I should check my car when I pick it up from the PPF guy in 10 days. Never would have thought to look at the leather like this.

Oddly enough, I got my Targa a few weeks ago, and my drivers side door panel is also wrinkly... I think mine covers most of that whole panel rather than just a portion of it. I will bring it up with the dealer when I take it in sometime in the next 3 - 4 months. My Passenger side is flawless as well.

Maybe they had something against us Cincinnati Guys or something ;-)

I would take the wrinkles over my rattles.

I would definitely point it out. If you don't and it gets worse over period of time you will regret it. I am going to see mine for tbhe first time on Monday before it goes for wrapping. I will be looking for this!
