Cabriolet owners - whistling noise

So, my 992 C4 cab (2021) has a significant whistling noise in the 70km - 90 km/h range.
It can actually be heard with the roof / window open.
The only way I can reduce it is by driving in Wet mode - where the noise is almost not heard? (or drowning the sound with the engine).
Porsche (who have been testing the car for several days) say it is a "normal feature" - but I dont remember checking that box.
Are there other cabriolet owners who have this issue? If it is "normal" - then everyone must be experiencing the same?

porsche technicians have taped the car etc. - but their conclusion was “other owners are reporting the same” - “we don’t know what to do”.

I don't know... the active aero? Do you have the sport design facia? Whatever it is get it taken care of so you can enjoy the car. If it's not too loud then just ignore it.

I'd suggest hooking up with another 992 Cab owner in your area and see if the two of you can swap cars for a short drive and how that goes. You don't list your location, but if you are in the Metro Wash DC area hit me up and I'll do it with you.

if it goes away with "wet" mode its an engine thing as the mode maps the engine power (or the way power comes on) ...thats why i come back to turbo whine as i imagine wet mode has reduced boost or open less turbo whine

Whistling noise is the exact description of the Turbo noises. The fact they it's coming from up front would seem to rule that out however. The only thing that the modes affect that is up from would be active aero active cooling flaps and suspension.
EDIT: replace active aero with active cooling flaps

i suggested the cooling flaps - and they immediately just said “no”. I read somewhere that the flaps open at 70km/h in normal / sports modes (remain shut in Wet) - but - I am not an expert (and not sure exactly how they work).
it is difficult to hear the noise on video - but anyone who sits in the car (including Porsche) immediately say “ooops that’s not right”. (But obviously not so wrong to fix it).
if there are any experts here, I can share some video.
and - I am based in Switzerland.

It certainly seems like all indicators point to the cooling flaps. Enough so that I would push back on their quick “no”. Maybe yours are not fully closing.
I also think that the flaps close (not open) at 70 mph. That would actually make some more sense as to why you are getting the noise at 70. Can you go for a ride with a companion car and have them watch the flaps and see if the sound starts when the flaps close? Not overly scientific but should be pretty dispositive.

I just found an entire community of 992 owners with the same whistling noise on another forum.
Does anyone know how the active cooling flaps work - on a Base / Cabriolet model. I find it strange that the issue almost disappears in "wet mode".
Porsche released a video but it is unclear exactly what happens - if it is the same on all models - and how much the flaps open close.
