911 GTS PASM
Hi All,
I finally decided to buy Carrera 911 GTS. I found the free option:
”Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM)” which will replace the current PASM on GTS.
As I understand the current PASM on GTS:
“the GTS' rear springs are approximately 18 percent stiffer, and the fronts are nearly 50 percent stiffer”Porsche says
I am planning to use this car for daily use not for track race. So I need it to be more comfortable in the road.
Would you let me know if you suggest keep the current GTS PASM or change it to the one on carrera S?
also, is there anything would you suggest to me the car more comfortable? It comes with seat plus with 4 way, shall I go with the 18 way?
Thanks in advance.
Ahmed

Keep the car as is and purchase a DSC Controller. While I don't have first hand experience with the DSC, I've read that this helps a lot.
Also keep your tire pressures low at around 31/33. Others may chime in on this too.
Sheepskin seat covers can add to the comfort too.

Like Tier1 said, keep the S-PASM and get a DSC V3
I have a 991.1 GTS and have DSC V3 running GT3 Touring suspension file. My car is softer more comfortable than it was in stock for with S-PASM
Are you buying a new 992 GTS? if yes, you are in the wrong sub-forum
If you are thinking of swapping out 4 way to 18 way on a used car, I say go for it as 18-ways are amazing

i got to drive both the 992 turbo (which has PASM) and 992 GTS with Sports PASM that just got recently delivered.
The PASM is noticeably more compliant.
Since i am ordering gts for non tracking driving then i will check the PASM check box which applies the more compliant less sporty active suspension.
If you leave it as standard then it will come wth the helper springs higher spring rates setup which i found to be measurably tougher.
