Default Denver PPF done by dealer or not?

Hello all. I am patiently awaiting my first 911 and have plans to wrap my 911. Still waffling between a full wrap versus a partial. I know this has been discussed before, but I am specifically interested in Porsche owners experience with wrapping their 911 who live in the Denver, CO area. Are you having the dealer handle it?(My understanding is that most farm the work out to local detailing shops) Or are you collecting your car and taking it to a shop yourself? I would assume a mark up in price if the dealer handles it. Appreciate any and all recommendations and experiences.
Best.

I prefer to skip the middle man and go straight to the source.

+100 And in my case, the dealer would have used the exact same person that I used, but at an increased cost to me. It's almost always best to find someone good locally and build that relationship IMO.

I had my wife’s Cayenne done at Colorado Clear Bra. Kirby did an excellent job and I highly recommend him.

There are several really top-notch wrap/PPF shops in the Denver area... SpeedEFX, Colorado Detail, Denver Auto Shield, DeCo Tint, and I'm sure several others. Perhaps check in with the local RMR-PCA or ColoradoPorscheOwners facebook pages for more recommendations. I'd skip the dealer and work directly with the shop of your choice.

Are you also adding ceramic? I have partial PPF and ceramic and love it.

I too am patiently awaiting my 992 (February). My SA at Prestige Imports tells me they do PPF in-house, in a well-equipped shop with top expertise. Does anyone have experience with them that they can share?
Thanks in advance.

Yes I have used Prestige imports guy Tony and he did a fantastic job on my Speedster I would highly recommend him for anyone getting PPF or Ceramic coating.

I got my 992 from Prestige Imports in Denver in June.

I talked to two other shops as well as Prestige's "in-house shop". I think it is more affiliated or owned by but I don't know the relationship. After pricing all three and talking with the installer at Prestige's shop, I was quite comfortable with Tony's experience, expertise, products, and process.

So I had them do the work and am quite happy with it. But I was unsure which is why my SA gave me the number and after talking to Tony and the two other options, I felt like it was the right choice. I felt like he was just another indy at that point even though it was billed through the dealer.

EDIT: Oh, and Tony did my paint correction, PPF, ceramic and window tint.

I used Denver Auto Shield. They are a PCA sponsor and dealer for Xpel. They have the Xpel software and cutter to make the pieces that fit perfectly. They do Ceramic and paint correction also. They do a lot of high end cars and a lot of Porsches. Highly recommend them.
