Default GT3 Full Satin Wrap

I was at my local wrap / tint / mod dealer - getting some cosmetic stuff done on my BMW.

They usually have some interesting vehicles in the shop - they currently have this GT3.

The owner is going from gloss black to satin black.

FYI - the Mclaren is in for an engine rebuild !!!

Satin Agate is crazy. “IF” I get called off this list I will most like Stealth PFP it. I wish there were more pics of more colors. Like what it looks like in Shark etc.

I don’t like standard Agate. The car doesn’t pop it looks muted.

Its not really wrap in a way. That’s why I’m for it. Your true paint is showing through. It’s just dulling it. The difference is that looks like BMW frozen paint. You can tell a wrap is a wrap.

I don't like this at all. Totally hides the curves on the car. I'm completely over stealth/satin wraps.

I know what the wrappers say - I just happen to completely disagree. In the absence of light reflecting off the glossy paint, you get sort of a "vanta black" effect. Like a hole in the universe.

EDIT: compare this photo to the satin agate above:

Yea I mean the metallic colors make difference. Like GT Silver the rear looks amazing. If you are getting Chalk or Shark I think Satin is better. I wish Porsche offered my metallic colors.

I've seen a matte vinyl blue wrap on a 991 that was decent except where the vinyl was peeling. I haven't seen Stealth over other colors but I would actually consider this over Gentian. Wow

i don’t think they’d work as well on flat colours like chalk. Metallic colours with a lot of sheen (like gentian) stood really give that frozen paint finish

Ive been on and off the fence in getting my Miami Blue stealth wrapped. I've never seen one so I'm not sure how it would look.

You will see the metallic flakes thru the Satin Wrap vs just Matte on a solid color. Depends what look you are going for. Both are nice.

We still haven’t seen any bright colors like Shark or Python. I wanted to see Chalk. It either going to look really good or really bad lol.
