Default RaceChip Piggyback Tunes?

Anyone score and install a RaceChip GTS Black (55hp / 69 ft lbs gains) on their 992?

They are doing a Black Friday sale $100 off. Dropping the price from $750 to $650 making this even more attractive.

It’s not terribly easy to install these on 992. If I was looking to tune mine Id go for the OBD tune from M engineering.

I thought I read that their tune required the ECU removal. And their site asks "have you mailed us you ECU yet?" but also mentions no ECU removal...

I still like the $650 v $2250 pricing and while the install of the racechip is a bit cumbersome, I've seen the video and don't think it is all that bad.

The OBD tune doesn't require removal. Pricing is indeed much higher, but I think it's worth the delta. Especially once you factor in the cost / time of installation.

I had the JB4 piggyback for roughly 6 months. While the performance was good for the money, the PDK didn't really like it. The shifts were horrible. I switched to the M Engineering tune as soon as it was available for home flash and I love it (and so does the PDK). I had the JB4 installed by a local Indy Porsche shop for roughly $600. That's why I still have it installed. Would love to get rid of it though.
