The Prodical 992 Returns .... finally
I have to say, one thing I will "miss" about having this car is not being able to enjoy the engine bay view. Even with the bumper removed, you don't see much of the mechanics of the beast. (This is my first porsche)
Yep, that's very true. Our first Porsche was in Cincinnati and my wife and I knew all of the mechanics personally so they would let us go back and really see what they were doing. I'll never forget seeing my first 911 engine completely, 100%, taken apart. It was quite a sight to behold. I hope you're enjoying your Porsche.

It's good to see the car back on the road and to hear how well the repairs have been done. Makes a pleasant change from all the horror stories we see all the time.
FYI Only ... I received both checks from insurance company yesterday (repairs & diminished value) so I drove to Knoxville to officially pay Harper Collision and deposit the other monies into my Schwab account. Chad told me a story that made me realize that my aggravation was NOT as bad as some others.
A brand new Panamera has been sitting at his repair shop for 2 months now (mine was fixed in 2.5) and has NOT even had the parts ordered yet due to the at fault insurance company continuing to vigorously dispute the repair estimate. I then asked why the person hadn't filed using his own insurance company and was told that it was NOT insured yet as the person had just got it and was taking it home (day 1)! I told him it should be insured based on the car it was replacing and he agreed but I didn't go further into the specifics (I said the new Panamera should have 10-14 days but he didn't think that long so do OTHERS care to comment?). Chad did say he gave him the same information as me re: filing a formal complaint with the TN insurance commission.
So I guess I was even more fortunate than I realized. I drove over to the Porsche dealer and asked if they updated any software but they said no, so not sure why mine is acting "better" than before. (honestly don't care why, just glad it is). I have taken the C2S out on a couple more hour drives and it performs flawlessly so definitely a happy customer.
