Does anyone know of any ways to add wired/wireless android auto to MY19/MY20/MY21 992 with PCM5.0? I searched high and low and can't find any solutions. Thank you very much!

I have done the coding (at a shop) for wired Android Auto but not wireless.

 

Really? I am okay with wired AA. Is it working well and may I ask where did you have it done?

 

It works fine except it doesn't run full screen.

 

Can we have some more info about achieving this?

 

I have a full screen carplay enable by auto retrofit. They do it for me remotely. It is easy than others, they did everything for me. I 'm very impressed.

Thank you for the update. Do you know of the activation is permanent? Like if I bring my car in for servicing and they update my pcm, will it have to be reactivated again? Thanks

 

The guy told me, it may lost after update the pcm. But they provide lifetime reactivate service just need to keep the order email.
It was recommanded by my friend, he did the activation on his pcm4.0. very good service.

 

we also tried a full-screen AA but it's not user-friendly, so only recommend guys try the PCM5 2/3 screen AA.

not really, everything is done via USB port in OEM way, and we can revert back to factory status anytime in case there's a need.
No DTCs by diagnosing with Porsche tester after we enabled the CarPlay fullscreen and Android auto.

 

Check my post, you will see that 1920x720 hd full screen now can be activated on PCM5 just like PCM6
