For the longest time I had the Turbo wheel on my build and was sure I would go with it. Problem I came to was that the Turbo wheel is a variant/evolution of the turbo wheel from the last few years and is also available for Macans, Cayennes, and Taycans since at least 2015 and so it is on a lot of cars in either the original or this newer variant. Between that and the busy look of it, as well as the cleaning aspect, I decided against the Turbo wheel.

Didn't want the base S wheel and I didn't want the Spyder for the cleaning issue or for how many seem to have it, but mostly for the fact that I don't care for the color, though I'm not convinced that it would have worked well in silver (see this thread to see someone who has done the spyder wheel in silver - https://rennlist.com/forums/992/1272...clearcoat.html - I think it looks good on the GT silver car, but don't expect it would on other colors).

That said, I think the Classics or the Exclusives (with the additional painting in black to make them pop) are the best wheels, and certainly for the Gentian Blue color. I chose the Classics because I already have some 5 spoke wheels on my SUV and because I felt they were sportier, with the Exclusives being more "elegant". Someone described the Turbo as "lux" and I would agree with that sentiment.

Carrera S wheel

Classics

Spyders

Exclusives - with the black accents

You can see how they pop

Standard Exclusive just isn't as appealing to me.

Exclusives with the black accents remind me of old Fuchs

I went with Exclusives with the black accents (high gloss black) on my GB scheduled for delivery in January.

Thank you all! Now I am confident that I will go with the default satin platinum if I choose the spyder wheels.

That said, after reading your alternative suggestions, I am no longer sure if spyder is the best choice, because exclusive now looks so good to me too and perhaps even better than spyder. The only downside of exclusive is probably that it is more expensive than the other options if it needs to come along with a paint (+$1290). Seems like another hard decision to make.

Looks very nice! Does it get dirty more easily than other color options?
