Default Those of you with clear third brake and light bar - post pics please

Hi guys,

I'm thinking about getting the clear third brake light and long light bar on a GT Silver C2S. If you have this can you post pics? My concern is that it is going to look too bland back there with GT silver. For those of you that got it, do you like it?

Also if not too much trouble, can you take a picture of it with the brake applied. I'd like to see it to see how RED the light is.

Thanks team!

PSE with black tips. They’re a shiny black.

Default Clear w/ red

Here is mine with clear third light, but red light bar. My personal opinion is that the red light bar keeps it from looking "too bland" as you mentioned - particularly since mine is de-badged.

t the red light bar keeps it from being too bland, as you mentioned - particularly since mine is also de-badged.

Here’s a pic of mine, sorry it’s not at a better angle where you can see the back more. I added the clears after I got the car. Almost ordered it with them but decided to wait. It’s not much more just to order them afterwards vs optioning them. I love the look, but my car is green so hard to compare to silver. I don’t have a pic of them lit up, but I’ve seen them at night and they look just as red.

Thanks DrewTJ50.....can I ask, did you buy the clears and then spray tint them or did you start with red? Also when you apply the brake, is there any runny lines from the spray tint?

I just sprayed the factory reds. No runny lines as long as you do a few light coats.

Warren99. Thanks for posting this. Love that green and the clears look nice on your car. On green I think the clears are actually required because you'll have too many colors going on (green, red and yellow brakes). Good think you got ceramics in yellow. If not red and green seem at odds. Your car is very cool and good choices!

Did you think about getting clear back reflectors.....I think that would seal the look!

Hey 540gone....you have a good point. I didn't think of just doing the third light only in clear......that actually looks nice. Yes, really concerned about that the back end looking too black and silver with no color.

Do you have red calipers? I might do what you did, and maybe get a red chrono clock to complement the red calipers

What color is your interior. Mine is all black.

Per your request. Interior is black w/ chalk stitching, red belts, red tach dial & floormat edging, brushed aluminum trim, left chrono dial alone so as not to be a distraction while driving.
