Feedback on my build
I'm close to my freeze date and i'm going with the following $ additions, only. My only exterior money spending splurge are the tail lights which to me are the most impressive visual you can make on the outside. Rest is very simple and basic needs for me. Ventilated (Florida), Chrono (must have), Wheels (best bang for buck), Sport seats (have to have with the leather option). I still may ditch the Sport Tail pipes, 50/50 at this point.
1. Chrono (everyone says you have to have, so what the hell, i will have)
2. Sport tail pipes (cheap addition)
3. Carrera Classic wheels (mid-range, but very nice looking)
4. Ventilated seats (absolute must)
5. Sports seats + (required to have)
6. Exclusive design tail lights (one of my favorite things)

I agree on ditching the PSE. It's pretty weak sounding for $3K+. As for ambient lighting, I don't know what regular looks like but I enjoy the ambient lighting in the car. I'd just spend a bit more to get what you want. You shouldn't have regrets for missing things you'd like after spending $100K+.
My personal thought, I would also ditch the PSE. If you ever do want a louder or deeper/better tone, you can always throw on some link pipes or aftermarket mufflers, which sound arguably better in most cases than PSE anyways. Not to mention further weight reduction and power increases. Just a thought for a mod later down the road.

Thanks for the responses. I did ditch the PSE now and went with the full leather interior. I did get a chance to sit on the sports seats today without the 14 ways, just the 4 ways. and I was wondering if I could spend the $2300 for the 14 ways better elsewhere? Like a combination of Surround View and Bose or any other options (up to $3000). What do you guys think? or just stick w the 14 way power?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Yup! I'm thinking the surround view will compensate for the lack of mirror tilt while reversing and I will have some money left for one more option.

BUT... if I were to order again, I'd get the power 18 way seats. Many people talk about fit being the primary factor in choosing and recommend going with SS or SS+ if those base seats fit you. However, I have found that I miss other features of power seats... like the memory function (my son and I use the car and are always changing seat positions) or the ability to set the seats to automatically pull back to let you out of the car easier. I came from a sedan that was easy to get in and out of. Now coming to a 992, I find it more challenging to contrort and do the limbo to get under the steering wheel. Compounding the issue is the fact that the 992 is a coupe w/ much longer doors. So, if you are parked next to other cars, it's hard to open the door as much as you want and you have to sort of lean your leg forward to angle your way into the car.
For a while I'd pull the seats back manually before I got out and that helped exiting and re-entering the car but, of course, I'd have to screw around w/ the seat position again to get it perfect which took some added time.
Ultimately, while the SS+ seats fit me just fine, if I could re-spec my car again, I'd opt for the 18 ways because of all the other benefits I mentioned. Just some things to consider when deciding btw 14 ways and 4 ways. It's not just the fit, it's the other stuff too.
I went back and forth btw all 4 seat options and ended up with SS+. I never tried the SS+ or 18 ways, just the 14 ways and didn't like them b/c they were too loose for me. I have found the SS+ to fit me really well.

I also think you should think about the premium package, upgrading it with the full 360 surround and park assist. It is pricey, but if you're going to be driving it a lot, it will be worth it.
Iceland versus Mojave with the Grey/Green exterior (full leather is a nice upgrade in the place you live)
14 ways definitely
PSE only if you must have the additional noise and/or like the oval pipes vice the quads ... I'd eliminate them from any build
