Default Any advice on taking a 992 4S with RAS on track?

I’m a bit confused on proper tire pressures to start with for the track.
Have the stock Pirellis and currently on 33/38 psi (cold) as advised for partial load.
Do I just use it’s current settings or drop the PSI a few?

Thanks!

32/34 psi hot should do the target for the Pirelli.

Start something like 30 cold first session - builds them up to 36-39 let's say - then bleed down to a 32/33 -ish after a session or so - and leave it be after that.

That should allow cold pressures that aren't too low at the beginning of the session and be safe enough.

Don’t start too low or you can damage the sidewalls. Come off track after a couple laps and bleed some and then bleed more after fully up to temp. You’ll increase way more than 2-3psi

For the first track day, your street pressures are fine. You will not be over-driving the tires.

More importantly, realize your insurance company does not cover your car in case you ball it up, you have to buy supplemental track insurance for your DE event unless you can comfortably absorb the loss of a $ 100K + vehicle.

Thanks for the replies guys.
I’ll keep an eye on those pressure and see if I have to bleed them down.

Been to a few track days with an older Carrera before but never found what the “ideal” pressure should be.

Track insurance is very tempting, though I’ve had some varying opinions from different people.
