Porsche Experience Center, worth it?

I've been to the one in Carson on two occasions . The first was prior to taking delivery of my car, the second was a few months after taking delivery. First time the instructor followed a structured routine which included basic maneuvers to familiarize you with the basic performance and systems of the car. Second time the instructor introduced himself and said, it's your time, what do you want to do? Track, and push me to the limit of my ability . And in a 911 in front of me, that's what he did. I honestly couldn't have driven any faster, and came away feeling like I had improved my driving. I would probably go back for a third session . I definitely would recommend.

I did the Porsche Track Experience school in Birmingham, Alabama... That was the best car related experience I have ever had. Did the multi day school, and they really teach you how to drive the car on track and make you a better driver! If someone is looking for a really unique experience, wants to get into tracking your car, and wants to be taken out of your comfort zone a bit then this is for you! I did not have a ton of track experience prior, but they make you feel like you could start to do track events on your own very quickly.
I also did the porsche drive experience over in Germany at the factory, and was able to rent a car directly from them for a period of time, and they do an experience thing with that.... which was also amazing, but the track school is next level cool

Did it earlier this week in a 992. Was an absolute blast. Highly recommended. Also did it years ago when the 718 first landed. They are now doing it with the coach in a lead car, via walkie-talkie. Instead of in the car with you. I much preferred the walkie-talkies. No better way to learn the line than following a skilled instructor.

In Atlanta where I did it, it wasn't just driving a Cayman (I split it 45 minutes each between me and a friend so it was only $175 each), it was seeing all the cars outside, the cars instead, the service area where they were restoring cars, the future cars that were on display that weren't even out yet, the basement garage where it was just car after car that was amazing like GT2RS's in a variety of colors, the samples of paint and interiors where I could touch them, the gift shop, talking to others all over the facility, taking cool pictures inside and out, the incredible restaurant and all the nice people working there, and the Porsche vibe was so high. It's an unbelievable experience even if you didn't drive! My buddy came with us and just watched. Best deal around and the Cayman was fun. Never drove one before.

Worth it’s weight in gold!
Recently did PEC Silverstone, wife, her Dad and cousin (sharing), and myself.
We drove our respective models, her a Macan Turbo, me a C4S, the guys also a C4S.
Firstly, the hardware they have available is phenomenal, well over 100 cars in the car park of all differing Porsches.
Instructor I had was brilliant, pushed me harder than I would ever drive on a road. I learnt how stable a 911 is, how hard it can stop, how it deals with the wet and icy conditions (kick plate and ice hill), lastly how it can be pushed incredibly hard on a small track and you stay completely in control.
Bacon roll in the morning and a very nice lunch, everyone was incredibly nice, even the talk about driver performance from the physio was very useful, so all in a great day out.
