Default Raised brake light error repair

Hi all, I started another thread about this but wanted to update and ask a question:

My raised brake light (under the spoiler) has been malfunctioning.

Dealer said it may be a wiring issue and that they need to "disassemble the spoiler to investigate"

I gave them the ok, but I have to admit I'm nervous about anything being disassembled and wiring being touched. Anybody else have any experience with this? Are my concerns unfounded?

Concerns unfounded. I wouldn’t worry about it. Look at my profile picture. It’s not a big deal. My dealer even has a rig designed to hold all of the parts when you disassemble the rear of a 992.

Detansinn, is that the engine mount recall that they are doing in your profile pic? Cool that they sent your photos. I was supposed to take delivery in Sept 2019, but my car arrived damaged and I decided to wait for another car that arrived Feb 2020 (this was before COVID craziness that made the market go mad). My newer build car dodged the engine mount recall.
