Trading in 911.2 for 992
#16
Manheim wholesale on your car is higher.
2017 911 Carrera Coupe = $92,700 + $7,110 for low mile adjustment = $99,800
Three base models have go through the auctions in July at $96K or higher
$96K with 19K miles
$97,500 with 4,600 miles
$99K with 10,200 miles all graded 4.5 and over on a 5 point scale.
Manheim estimated retail is $112,000
Maybe they are low-balling you and selling 992 at retail instead of marking up. They can do better on a trade. Even wholesale market is very strong right now.

Great, simple build that checks the right boxes IMO. In fact, very close to mine and includes the things I'd probably add if doing it again. If you want to save $510, I think you can skip the window trim in high gloss black, the matte black that comes standard works perfectly with the car given all the other matte black bits on the exterior.

I say trade.
I traded a one-owner 991.1 2014 Carrera 3.4L (it had 25K miles and new tires):
Attachment 1339391
For a new 2020 Carrera 3.0L (same color):
Attachment 1338567
Why? I liked to new 992 look more than the 991.1 look. I paid more cash than you, but my trade was older.

Thanks all. I removed the gloss black trim...also removed the premium package as I don't really need the surround view and ventilated seat but added some individual items I want
Updated build code: http://www.porsche-code.com/PN7CNQ67
White
Leather Interior in Black/Bordeaux Red
Electric Slide/Tilt Sunroof in Glass
Power Folding Exterior Mirrors
Model Designation Changed to "911"
8-speed Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK)
Sport Chrono Package
Sport Exhaust System incl. Tailpipes in Silver
20"/21" Carrera Classic Wheels
Lane Change Assist (LCA)
Ambient Lighting
Power Sport Seats (14-way) with Memory Package
Heated GT Sport Steering Wheel in Leather
Smoking Package
BOSE Surround Sound System
I am wondering whether I should just get the Standard Interior with Leather Package with Guard Red Seatbelts (not full leather but the two front seats are), instead of Leather Interior in Black/Bordeaux Red (full leather). The price difference is about $1600
Full leather

@slwong23 It looks like you have the standard headlight. How do you like it? I heard the trim is black rather than chrome in PDLS+. Do you mind take some pics of it?. Also, do you like the Surround View? Thanks
Surround view is great and very usable in all parking situations, esp if you do any parallel parking. Its helpful with alignment into parking spots as well, I tend to back into spaces a lot. I wouldn't say its a need; most of us have driven decades without that tech, but if I have the option, I'm always checking that box moving forward on any vehicle. It's one of those features that once you get used to using, you don't want to be without it.
You may want to consider adding the Premium Package to your build. I know we all have our limits, but you've checked many of those boxes individually already. Might be worthwhile for the delta to include PDLS+ and Surround View...

Standard headlights are great, no issues whatsoever. IIRC, there wasn't a premium package option when I built my spec so I did not opt for PDLS+. Could be a case of I don't know what I don't know, but I haven't done many rural roads or canyon driving at night, so I don't feel like I'm missing anything. I plan to step out later today, I'll snap some pics of the headlights and circle back.

I checked Premium Pkg initially but unchecked it because I don't think I need PDLS+, Surround View, and Ventilated seats. I had ventilated seats in my 991.2 and only used once or twice and also felt the seat a litter harder than the same 14-way seats in my Macan. My Macan 14-way seats does not have ventilated seats and feel a bit more comfortable.
I’d keep the Bordeaux/Black leather. It’s beautiful, and the difference between it and the standard black will be visually significant. Every single time you drive the car.
Whatever you decide; it’s going to be stunning. Nice build

Here are a couple photos, apologies for the lighting... I forgot to take them while I was outside and these are from my subterranean garage. Please also excuse the dust, the car is due for a wash.
