Maybe they are low-balling you and selling 992 at retail instead of marking up. They can do better on a trade. Even wholesale market is very strong right now.

It was black on the 20 and 21 models, but you made me look for the 22s since I have an order demand in... It is still indeed black trim as standard.

 

Agree on not paying for gloss black trim. Only other thing I would consider is sport design front.

I am wondering whether I should just get the Standard Interior with Leather Package with Guard Red Seatbelts (not full leather but the two front seats are), instead of Leather Interior in Black/Bordeaux Red (full leather). The price difference is about $1600

Thanks very much everyone! I finalized the deal with my dealer last week. Final trade-in $90k and no dealer fee. Now just need to finalize my build.

 

Standard headlights are great, no issues whatsoever. IIRC, there wasn't a premium package option when I built my spec so I did not opt for PDLS+. Could be a case of I don't know what I don't know, but I haven't done many rural roads or canyon driving at night, so I don't feel like I'm missing anything. I plan to step out later today, I'll snap some pics of the headlights and circle back.

Surround view is great and very usable in all parking situations, esp if you do any parallel parking. Its helpful with alignment into parking spots as well, I tend to back into spaces a lot. I wouldn't say its a need; most of us have driven decades without that tech, but if I have the option, I'm always checking that box moving forward on any vehicle. It's one of those features that once you get used to using, you don't want to be without it.

You may want to consider adding the Premium Package to your build. I know we all have our limits, but you've checked many of those boxes individually already. Might be worthwhile for the delta to include PDLS+ and Surround View...

 

I checked Premium Pkg initially but unchecked it because I don't think I need PDLS+, Surround View, and Ventilated seats. I had ventilated seats in my 991.2 and only used once or twice and also felt the seat a litter harder than the same 14-way seats in my Macan. My Macan 14-way seats does not have ventilated seats and feel a bit more comfortable.

 

I agree with Mr. Wong. With the Premium Package you’re adding Surround view and the PDLS+ for $1700.0. Which a little over 1% of the cars price. Insignificant considering both options provide real value.

I’d keep the Bordeaux/Black leather. It’s beautiful, and the difference between it and the standard black will be visually significant. Every single time you drive the car.

Whatever you decide; it’s going to be stunning. Nice build
