My new-to-me 2020 992 C2S behaves in a way that surprises me. With the top down and the windows all down, I turn off the ignition and open the door to exit. The window on the opened door rises up about 4”, then retracts back into the door when it is closed. Both the driver’s and passenger side exhibit this.

Is this normal? If so, why?

Normal. To protect the glass to stop rattling from the force of closing the door.

My windows as you describe, but do not go down when I exit…looking forward to seeing responses…

That's a problem. Take it in to dealer.

Mine also goes up about 4 inches when I open the door. The most annoying think on the whole car. I normally put my hand or arm on the door when I get out of the car and can't do that now. Dealer told me that was normal for this car. If anyone finds a cure for that please let us know.
