Default Raised brake light error

Hi all, last few days every time I drive a message pops up: "Raised brake light error--check brake light"

However, the brake lights are all working fine.

I have a call out to the dealer but has anyone had this message? Probably some silly tech/battery thing?

Did you check the brake light under the rear wing that only becomes visible when the rear wing raises?

I’m sure you have, but wanted to flag just in case.

^ I've been told to check that (I forgot to). I'm guessing that's the issue.

Not an easy thing to check all by yourself, but I already have a service for this scheduled with my dealer. Can you believe they want to give me a loaner car? Even if the light needs to be replaced, I don't see why I can't just drive my car until the part arrives?

Can I believe ? well DOH yes ! Unless deliberately and knowingly driving a car with defective brake light is not a legal ( ie police or worse law suit worthy incident) problem in the USA .
I imagine otherwise.

^ Update:

I confirmed that the brake light BELOW the spoiler works just fine.

Yet I’m still getting that same error message

Not sure if anyone cares, but here's an interesting update:

Raised brake light error comes on even though I've confirmed that the elevated brake light works, INCLUDING the one below the spoiler.

??? SA at Porsche says it could be an LED something something, no idea what could be going on. Anyway.....

In the past, replacing the LED brake light solved this issue. Even when the lights worked.
