Re: Daytonas — Rolex has *always* kept the supply artificially constrained. It’s been impossible to walk into a dealer and buy a Daytona for awhile now, even before the ceramics. I’ve posted on here before - I bought one at $18k and the market is now pushing $40k for unworn with stickers.
Regular Carreras have not been supply constrained like this in the past, so some of this is situational and should improve.
rolex trying to sell as many as they can at their prices. No real intel to speak of, but can’t see that they won’t make enough to satisfy demand at their price point…similar to 911’s. Maybe they can’t manufacture them fast enough, but doubt they are purposefully limiting sales.
This is a Porsche car forum. Wanted to read about 911 prices and now have to scroll through pages of ranting about vaccines and politics. Please find a different forum to discuss that. Where are mods when you need ‘em.
This may come as a surprise, but us mods do not read every single post on this forum. We need assistance from the community to report posts when moderator assistance is needed.

I was wondering when this would show up. I got warned by a mod about a simple post on term limits for all politicians while this thread went off the rails ages ago. Fully understand the small number of moderators and the volume of topics daily. Glad this one has been sanitized.

We now return you to your normal channels

Seriously, let’s get back to if I need to option PCCBs.
I think the answer to your question is "if you're wondering you don't need it".
Are you going to track the car? How long are you planning on keeping the car? what is you reasoning for contemplating PCCB? I assume it comes with center locks, are you equipped to change or know how to change a center lock wheel?
Given the amount of cash PCCB cost, it could buy lots of perhaps more pertinent (to your expectations, driving etc.) needs.

YMMV

I'm just teasing, because it seems like a popular question.
I put a deposit down at my dealer for a GTS coupe, and decided to stick with the upgraded Turbo brakes. I don't track, and it'll have centerlocks, it's just something to haul the family to car shows with, and pickup ice cream occasionally.

Also, I do not want you to believe I was criticizing the mods. You guys do a great job. Was more of a tongue n cheek comment about the COVID hijacking of the thread. Please accept my apologies if it was interpreted as such. - Mr. Bourne.
