I had a Guards Red '18 Carrera T with the Carrera T Interior package with red pinstripes. Does anyone know how that interior compares with the current offering of "sport tex" on the 992 configurator? I loved the seats on that "T" interior package. I am leaning toward ordering the sport tex interior on my 992. Thanks

 

It’s not really the same material. Best way I can put it, is that the sport-Tex is a lot more substantial feeling, like thicker threads, right weaving, looks really special and modern with a touch of classic. The one on the 991T is gorgeous as well, but in comparison is not as substantial and feels more 90s retro/last generation-type than the sport-Tex.

This is 100% my subjective opinion, but if you compare some pictures you may see where I’m coming from but when you see it in person you’ll get what I’m saying.

Also, I’m not saying one is better than the other, they are just different ways of approaching the same thing.
