Congrats! OP, what are you thoughts on the 992 vs. your 991?

Well, I picked up the 992 yesterday, and I have fallen in love. I was a Manual transmission snob before, promised myself I would always have one and wouldn't transition to PDK... having said that, 3 weeks ago I attended the Porsche Performance driving race school in Alabama for 3 days and pushed the 992 hard on the track with PDK... I came home and have now traded the manual 991 for the PDK 992. This car is so crazy quick and its build quality seems to be at an even higher level than the 991. Dont get me wrong, the NA engine in the 991 was incredible and the engagement of the Manual can't be beat... but the 992s require a lot out of you too in a good way. It feels more engaging than any other automatic i've ever driven especially when you throw it in M and use the paddles. the sports exhaust absolutely solves the "turbo vs NA" problems for sound in my opinion, and the sports chrono package gives you all the fun stuff you want. I tried launch control today and started laughing by myself in the car. I used sports response button a couple times on the highway and at one point (still by myself) I yelled out "THIS CAR IS SO F*****G GOOD". The car is putting down 3.4 second 0-60 times. I mean thats SUPERCAR fast. What more can you ask for??
