I have the regular size tank in my 2020 C4S manual. Around the city and normal driving I get 18-20 MPG (US). I have done 4-5 extended road trips over 300 miles - (Chicago, Atlanta x2, South Carolina, and Cleveland) all ~4 hours or more away most 5-6 hours. I averaged over 32Mpg on each of this trips - my longest trip got 34.3 mpg (highway in 7th gear, and at 75-80 mph). honestly it is the best gas milage by far of any of my current cars. I am frankly impress what the 992 can get. This is my 6 911 (8th Porsche) and nothing has been this efficient. In the past 991, 996, 997, 993, etc. I could get in the mid 20's at best.
An occasional sprint, but mostly safe and sane. At roughly 4,500 miles I've averaged 20.8 mpg overall. I filled the tank (extended range) earlier today so at 529 mi remaining it's dropped a few, but that seems to be pretty normal for my mix of freeway and residential streets.
.
I don’t know, guys, but I see no joy in getting high mpg in this car. It means you’re driving it like a grampa
It’s just a challenge like anything else. Hell, in the oil crisis periods car clubs used to run competitive ‘economy runs’ when Motorsport was banned. We got really good at coasting down hills.

No need to be a Grandpa or a Prius Driver. Like a lot of things in life, the key to maximum performance is to be smooth. Something that is much harder to do than it sounds.
I’m oddly kind of proud of myself but at the same time ashamed of myself for this. Had to take it out to take care of a speeding ticket(101 in a 75) in a town 120 miles away so I thought to myself let’s just drive slow (78-80 mph) there. Why get another ticket on the way to take care of one.
i was shocked what I got on miles per tank and mpg(extended range tank)
consistently get 30mpg on my c2s driving at 65mph (speed limit) on the freeway. there are very few opportunities to go faster than that around here (norcal) unfortunately.
