About to submit new build and just wondered what you guys consider must have options. Thanks in advance. I’ll submit my build sheet here next week once done

The list of must-haves varies widely. My list of must-haves was merely a manual transmission. Everything else was negotiable. After spending some time on Porsche lots and adjusting my build about 10 times, my must-have list has expanded to: leather dash/doors, Aero-Kit and BOSE.....among a few other things. I am coming from 20 years of BMW M cars, spoiled by generous amounts of leather when optioned with Full-Leather, nicely appointed carbon fiber pieces, carbon fiber roofs standard, etc. In order for my C2S to match that experience, I had to come out the pocket more than expected (...even though I jettisoned the carbon fiber roof because I like 1x1 plain more than 2x2 twill). One thing is for certain, the base radio and interior doesn't work for me in the Carrera, nor does the standard aero/rear wing, so my previously mentioned must-haves stand. I'm sure your mileage will vary.

The Nick Murray You Tube Videos are an excellent starting point. I believe that my advice would be to build the car "YOU" want in the on-line configurator. Then post the Build Code here and you will get all sorts of opinions, which are like . . . . well everyone has one. What I'd pay attention to is not so much what others like or don't like subjectively, I'd pay attention to which options you placed on your build as well as those you dismissed. Which options do others feel do not perform as they had hoped or expected and also those which folks have been pleasantly surprised by. For example: I really love the Automatic Cruise Control, +PDLS Headlights and the Ventilated Seats. They are all fantastic IMHO. However, the Home-Link function is 100% totally useless and using the AT&T internet connection isn't even worth using during the "free" trial period as far as I'm concerned.
Would suggest using the term options in the forum search and requesting that the word appear in the title. You will see a multitude of threads where this has been hashed out at length. Short answer is that there are no must have options for the car but each owner depending on their needs and desires might have a must have option. We cannot possibly know what you seek and what you find important. One drivers must have is another drivers don't need and yet another drivers must not have. Search, read and have fun.
If you only spec one option, it should be Sport Chrono -- that's the only one where there seems to be a massive plurality of consensus. Even then, there are a handful of people that will argue against it.
You will find a zillion threads on this.
Set a budget of what you want to spend. Then, pick your options that fit within that budget. You will spend hours in the configurator weighing your choices and still question yourself right up to lock-in.
This is the way.

Kind of an ambiguous question since you’re going to get as many different opinions as there are posts. You have yet to say what you are even starting with as a base model (base,S,etc)
Why not generate something from the configurator and post it now?

Agree 100%. In the old days, 997 and so on, you could argue this one but with the 992 loosing most of it’s buttons and gaining the ‘wheel’ (or whatever they call it) sports chrono becomes almost mandatory. Yes you can press a switch for the shocks and exhaust but Sports mode does much more than that. Sports+ and other SC features / functions are almost a bonus.
Everything else is gravy and zero concensus from members. My build was $20k over what I had originally 'wanted', I have zero regrets for any of my options, I also would probably love the car without the added options
So I guess just like every other forum, social media platform, etc this one, too, has members that just can't wait to chime in with their smart *** remarks. Listen, if you have nothing to add just move on. I was just asking for some insight from people who have built one or many 911s before.
