I have not seen a dedicated Cabrio thread. Hence, for those lucky 992 Cabrio owners (Carrera, S, Turbo - all welcome), please share a photo of your exterior / interior for us to drool over.
I am starting with my configurator C2S Cab photo given that I have yet to receive an allocation, which makes my car a MY 2022 (or 2023??) reality. Enjoy!
Yes, but what the intended purpose is for is unknown.....
.
Probably to protect the frameless glass when the door is slammed shut due to the design of the door panel. Same reason it goes down a bit when you open the door.
Question for the group: as you know, Porsche have configured the cabriolet so that one can't raise the rear windows when the windstop is raised. I've been told that this is so "you don't look like an #$%" when driving it. But having had a BMW 335 cab with a windstop, I found that having all the windows up at highway speeds made a material difference in terms of wind buffeting and overall noise. Is there a way to make the rear windows go up when the windstop is raised on the 992? Is there a hack for this?
