I'm close to 6'2'' and my TTS had 18 way seats, but I also noticed this and found I kept pulling the belt away from my neck, to rest lower across my chest, but it would work its way back up to my neck soon afterwards.

As a few members have mentioned they don't notice it anymore after a few months. Either due to the callous on their neck or muscle memory takes over as you unconsciously repeat the motion you describe. Very poor design/implementation.

I didn’t notice this on the two test drives I had (both coupes). That said, I’m assuming those above who have noticed this issue are all driving coupes as the cab and targa belts would be mounted lower, right ?

thats a good point, looking at a couple of YouTube videos the top mount on a coupe is a good couple of inches higher than a cab.

Good catch Steve, but the issue remains: the inability to adjust the seat belt height S U C K S!

glad I found this thread, that's the only thing I can complain about in my 911. Damn seat belt rubbing my neck, no matter how I adjust the seat. I'm 6'3.
