Default Porsche "Welcome Packet"

So I had two ankle biter issues: First I never got my "Official" Porsche Welcome Packet and Second, my "free" Porsche Connect subscriptions showed as expiring on the date I ordered the car rather than the date I actually got it, almost 4 months later.
After quite a few calls to the "Official" Porsche Customer Assistance Desk/800# over a period of a few months (when boredom got the best of me). I finally gave up and wrote one of those "Dear President" letters and mailed it about a week ago. FWIW such letters do not get to the President of the company, but thier staff typically passes it down to whomever is supposed to handle such matters with a politically correct corporate memo that basically says: "Make this customer happy so that they will go away and not write any more letters like this."
Well surprise, surprise guess what FedEx delivered today. So I also checked and sure enough my "free" Porsche Connect subscription now expires the day I picked up my new 911.

So what is a typical "Official" Porsche Welcome Packet and when do people expect to receive it?

I have 4 of those. Got one for my 2013 Carrera S CPO, my 2017 Carrera 4S, my 2018 Carrera 4S and my 2019 Carrera GTS. They typically showed up 30-60 days after I took delivery. No kit for my 2021 Carrera S I took delivery of back in December LOL. Porsche NA was probably like “screw him for raising a stink about his car stuck at the port in emissions certification purgatory for two months”.

That's precisely what has happened to me. I took delivery in December as well.

Personally I think the gift is kind of weak. When I bought my GT4 they sent a little Gt4 steering wheel. best stuff was the aluminum book that they sent me when they invited me to drive the 918 at thermal.

Pull out that 911 card, proudly and knowingly show it to the person checking you in at a Ritz Carlton and they'll comp you a room. Really...try it.

Wow! That's excellent information right there. I thought only Motel-6 had that offer, provided you also had your PCA membership card.

You have to sell it a bit. I like to bring my assistant Serge with me. Serge is scarier than an e-mail from DarkSide.
