Default DB Carbon Door Sill

Hey folks

I'm trying to install the DB Carbon door sills:
https://shop.db-carbon-interieur.de/...ts/1774TU-0001
https://shop.db-carbon-interieur.de/...ts/1775TU-0001

I've been able to remove the old ones, migrate over the switches, and now I'm trying to get both to snap back in but unable to do so. When I push hard only a single far side of any of them snaps in...and the rest of the snaps won't go in. I tried offsetting it, pushing it down, and sliding it, and it doesn't move. Is there any trick? I wonder if the window trip or carpet is preventing the hooks from going all the way down?

Appreciate the help!

Sorry to hear this. I purchased OEM after delivery and paid to have them installed by dealer.
