Default Traffic Sign recognition

I am trying to figure out if my car has this feature or not.

in the left side speed dial area one of the options to display says traffic sign 1 / traffic sign 2 and in the instruction manual it says the car will display traffic ‘ speed signs etc

However, I did not order the lane keep asst option which on Porsche build it says Incl Traffic Sign recognition.

Anyone know if the 992 comes with Traffic sign recognition even without the Lane Keep Asst option?

also - do you have to do anything other than select it in the screen to make it work?

thank you

It is part of the Lane Keep Assist camera system. If you don't have LKA, you don't have the hardware for traffic sign recognition. When you have it, the signs, including turn ahead and speed limits, will display in the location to the upper right of the speedo.

Now, that doesn't explain why you see the option in your speedometer settings. I have LKA with traffic sign recognition and can't confirm that for you. Perhaps, someone else without the feature can take a look.

I have Lane Keep Assist and speed limit signs regularly show but it is rare to ever see a curve sign on the dash.
